Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the blower motor. Refer to Blower Motor Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor resistor.
    3. IMPORTANT: Loosen the rearward blower motor resistor screws. The rearward blower motor resistor holes are slotted.
  3. Loosen the rearward blower motor resistor screws (3).
  4. Remove the forward blower motor resistor screw (3).
  5. Remove the blower motor resistor (4).
