Installation Procedure

  1. Install the auxiliary blower motor to the blower motor housing.
    2. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the auxiliary blower motor mounting screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

  3. Install the blower motor housing to the auxiliary HVAC module assembly.

    Align the rear tabs of the blower motor housing to the HVAC module.

  4. Install the auxiliary blower motor housing screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

  5. Install the lower auxiliary air distribution duct.
  6. Install the lower auxiliary air distribution retainers.
  7. Install the lower auxiliary air distribution ducts bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  8. Connect the auxiliary blower motor resistor electrical connector.
  9. Connect the auxiliary blower motor electrical connector.
  10. Install the left lower quarter trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Right in Interior Trim.
