Installation Procedure

  1. Install the defroster outlet duct to the I/P carrier.
    2. Fig 2: Identifying Defroster Outlet Duct Bolts

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the defroster outlet duct bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 1.2 N.m (11 lb in).

  3. Install the I/P carrier. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Carrier Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
