Removal Procedure

Remove the right rear wheel and tire. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
Loosen the adjusting nut.

Remove the right rear brake cable (1) from the connector (2).

Remove the inner cable (1) from the brake caliper retaining bracket.

Push the inner cable (1) as far forward as possible.
Rotate the tip of the inner cable toward the brake caliper and remove from the actuator (2).

Remove the brake cable from the vehicle.
