Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the load level sensor.
  4. Remove the clamp holding the right park brake cable to the stabilizer shaft.

  5. Remove the left and right side stabilizer shaft insulators and brackets.
  6. Remove the left and right stabilizer shaft links. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement .
  7. Remove the spare tire from the spare tire hoist.
  8. Remove the stabilizer shaft.
