Installation Procedure

  1. Install the O-ring seal (11) to the vehicle speed sensor (10).
  2. Install the vehicle speed sensor to the extension case.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the vehicle speed sensor bolt (9).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

  4. Connect the vehicle speed sensor wiring harness connector.
  5. Install the right engine splash shield. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Engine in Body Front End.
  6. Install the right front tire and wheel. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
