Installation Procedure

  1. Install the torque converter cover.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the torque converter cover bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the transaxle brace (4). Refer to Automatic Transmission Brace Replacement (Front Wheel Drive) , Automatic Transmission Brace Replacement (All Wheel Drive)  or Automatic Transmission Brace Replacement (Front Wheel Drive and All Wheel Drive) .
  4. Lower the vehicle.
