Removal Procedure

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

Remove the torque converter cover. Refer to Torque Converter Cover Replacement .

Use the J 37096 in order to rotate the flywheel and access the torque converter bolts.
Use the J 37096 to hold the flywheel.

Remove the flywheel to torque converter bolts.
