Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
    2. Fig 1: Removing/Installing Transmission Brace (All Wheel Drive)

  2. Remove the transaxle brace bolts (2, 3).
  3. Remove the transaxle brace (1).
