Removal Procedure

    IMPORTANT: Ensure the wiper system is in the PARK position.
  1. Raise and support the hood.
  2. Disconnect the wiper motor electrical connector.
  3. Lower the wiper motor module from the air plenum. Refer to Wiper Motor Module Replacement .
  4. Using the J 39232  , separate the wiper transmission link (1) from the wiper motor crank arm. See Special Tools .
  5. Remove the wiper motor pivot shaft nut (4).
  6. Remove the crank arm (5) from the wiper motor pivot shaft.
