Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (Static Fill) .

  2. Disconnect the coolant heater cord (1) from the heater.

    IMPORTANT: DO NOT score the surface of the engine block hole when removing the coolant heater.
  3. Remove the coolant heater.
