Installation Procedure

  1. Align the rear impact bar to the frame rail.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the rear impact bar bolts to the frame rail.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  3. Install the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper (Pontiac) , Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper (Buick)  or Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper (Chevrolet) .
