Installation Procedure

  1. Install the pull strap (1) to the liftgate.
    2. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the pull strap screws (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the pullstrap retaining screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  3. Close the liftgate.
