Removal Procedure

  1. Remove right front tire and wheel. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Install the splash shield. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Engine .

  3. Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector (1) from the knock sensor.

  4. Loosen and remove the bank 2 knock sensor (2).
