Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE .
  2. Remove radiator air baffle. Refer to RADIATOR AIR BAFFLE ASSEMBLIES AND DEFLECTORS .

  3. Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector (1) from the knock sensor.

  4. Loosen and remove the bank 1 knock sensor (1).
