Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (Short Wheel Base) .
  2. Disconnect the fuel tank harness electrical connector (4) from the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister vent solenoid valve.
  3. Disconnect the EVAP vent hose from the vent solenoid valve (2).
  4. Release the lock tab on the vent solenoid valve bracket and remove the vent solenoid valve.
