Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (Long Wheel Base) .

  2. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister vent pipe (6) from the EVAP canister (2).
  3. Disconnect the EVAP canister vapor pipe from the EVAP canister. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  4. Disconnect the EVAP canister purge pipe from the EVAP canister. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  5. Remove the EVAP canister (2) from the fuel tank.
