Installation Procedure

  1. Position and push the EVAP canister (2) into the EVAP canister bracket of the fuel tank.
  2. Pull up on the EVAP canister (2) to ensure a proper lock to the fuel tank bracket.
  3. Connect the EVAP canister purge pipe to the EVAP canister. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  4. Connect the EVAP canister vapor pipe to the EVAP canister. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  5. Connect the EVAP canister vent pipe (6) to the EVAP canister (2).
  6. Install fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (Long Wheel Base) .
