Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD REPLACEMENT - LOWER .
  2. Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector (1) from the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve.
  3. Disconnect the chassis EVAP pipe from the EVAP canister purge valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  4. Remove the EVAP canister purge valve bolt (2).
  5. Remove the EVAP canister purge valve (3).
