Installation Procedure

  1. Install the EVAP canister purge valve (3).
    2. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the EVAP canister purge valve bolt (2).

    Tighten:   Tighten the nut to 16 Nm (12 lb ft).

  3. Connect the chassis EVAP pipe to the EVAP canister purge valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  4. Connect the engine harness electrical connector (1) to the EVAP canister purge valve.
  5. Install intake manifold cover. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD REPLACEMENT - LOWER .
