Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the exhaust manifold. Refer to EXHAUST MANIFOLD REPLACEMENT - RIGHT (3.9L) .
    2. Fig 1: Identifying Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor

  2. Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector from the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor.
  3. Remove the CKP sensor stud (2).
  4. Remove the CKP sensor (1).
