Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake manifold cover, if necessary. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD COVER REPLACEMENT .

  2. Disconnect the PCV fresh air tube to the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  3. Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the mass air Flow (MAF)/Intake Air temperature (IAT) sensor.
  4. Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the throttle body.
  5. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct from the air cleaner housing and throttle body.
