Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Pontiac Montana SV6, 2006 Chevrolet Uplander, and 2006 Buick Terraza. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the air cleaner outlet duct to the air cleaner housing and throttle body.
  2. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the throttle body.
    3. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the MAF/IAT sensor.

    Tighten:   Tighten the nuts to 2 Nm (18 in ft).

  4. Connect the PCV fresh air tube to the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  5. Install intake manifold cover, if necessary. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD COVER REPLACEMENT .
