Installation Procedure

  1. Position the EVAP canister purge valve (3) and gasket (2) to the intake manifold.
    2. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the EVAP canister purge valve bolt (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Connect the EVAP canister purge pipe to the EVAP canister purge valve. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .
  4. Connect the electrical connector (6) to the EVAP canister purge valve (5).
