Installation Procedure

  1. Install the EVAP canister purge solenoid to the bracket.

  2. Connect the EVAP canister purge tube to the solenoid. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .

  3. Connect the EVAP line (2) to the purge solenoid. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .

  4. Connect the EVAP canister purge solenoid electrical connector (1).
  5. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Engine in Body Front End.
