Removal Procedure

  1. Open the liftgate.
  2. Remove the rear compartment storage unit, if equipped. Refer to Storage Compartment Replacement - Rear .

  3. Remove the push-in fasteners located at each end of the sill plate.
  4. Grasp the sill plate and pull upward, releasing the retaining clips securing the sill plate to the vehicle.
