Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.

  1. 2:  Clear all DTCs and cycle the ignition in order to verify that the DTC did not falsely set.
  2. 3:  Clear all DTCs after the repair procedure is complete.
DTC B1001: Options Configuration Error (Recalibrate)

1 Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle? Go to Step 2  Go to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle in Vehicle DTC Information

  1. Install a scan tool.
  2. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  3. With the scan tool, perform the radio setup procedure. Refer to Radio Setup .
  4. Turn OFF the ignition.
  5. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
Does the DTC reset?		 Go to Step 3  System OK
3  Replace the radio. Refer to Control Module References in Computer/Integrating Systems for replacement, setup and programming.
Did you complete the replacement?		 System OK -
