Installation Procedure

Install the tilt lever (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the retaining bolt (3) to the tilt lever.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Install the tilt lever spring (2).
Install the lower trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 in SIR.
