Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Pontiac Montana SV6, 2006 Chevrolet Uplander, and 2006 Buick Terraza. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the left rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Left .
    2. Fig 1: Removing/Installing Actuator Control Module - PSD (With RPO E59 LH)

  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) from the power sliding door (PSD) actuator control module (3).
  3. Release the integral clips (2) securing the actuator module to the top side of the motor module bracket (4).
  4. Pull the PSD actuator control module (3) inboard in order to release the control module from the actuator motor module bracket.
