Heater Pipe Replacement

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices. Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications . Preliminary Procedure Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26 Static Fill) , Draining and Filling Cooling System (LY7 Static Fill) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26, LY7, GE 47716 Fill) in Engine Cooling. Remove heater hoses from heater pipe assembly. Refer to Heater Hose Replacement - Inlet (LY7) , Heater Hose Replacement - Inlet (L26) , Heater Hose Replacement - Outlet (LY7) or Heater Hose Replacement - Outlet (L26) . Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.6L (LY7).
1	Hose, Heater Inlet Tip: Use J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers to release the clamp on the heater hose. Only remove hose from heater pipe.
2	Hose, Heater Outlet Tip: Use J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers to release the clamp on the heater hose. Only remove hose from heater pipe.
3	Bolt, Heater Pipe Assembly (Qty: 2) Tighten: 16 N.m (12 lb ft)

5	Gasket, Heater Pipe Assembly
6	O-Ring, Heater Pipe Assembly
