NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications . Preliminary Procedure Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging . Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 3.8L engine or Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 3.6L (LY7) engine. Remove the brake pressure modulator valve bracket. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) Bracket Replacement .
1	Nut, A/C Evaporator TXV Tube Tighten: 17 N.m (12.5 lb ft)
2	Washer, Sealing Tip: Remove and discard the sealing washers. Refer to Sealing Washer Replacement .
3	Connector, A/C Condenser Tube Tip: Remove the connector tube. Refer to A/C Line/Tube Connector Removal/Replacement .
4	O-ring, Seal Tip: Remove and discard O-ring. Refer to O-Ring Replacement .
5	Nut, A/C Compressor and Evaporator Tube Tighten: 17 N.m (12.5 lb ft)
6	Washer, Sealing Tip: Remove and discard the sealing washers. Refer to Sealing Washer Replacement .
7	Bolt, A/C Condenser and A/C Evaporator Tube Clamp Tighten: 10 N.m (89 lb in)
