Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications . Preliminary Procedure Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26 Static Fill) , Draining and Filling Cooling System (LY7 Static Fill) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26, LY7, GE 47716 Fill) . Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 3.6L (LY7) engine.
1	Hose, Radiator Outlet Tip: Use J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers to release the clamp on the radiator outlet hose. See Special Tools .

Preliminary Procedure

Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26 Static Fill) , Draining and Filling Cooling System (LY7 Static Fill) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26, LY7, GE 47716 Fill) .
Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 3.6L (LY7) engine.

Hose, Radiator Outlet
Tip: Use J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers to release the clamp on the radiator outlet hose. See Special Tools .
