The following conditions may cause a malfunction:

An open in the yaw rate signal circuit
A short to ground in the yaw rate signal circuit
A short to voltage in the yaw rate signal circuit
An open in the yaw rate ground circuit
An open in ignition voltage circuit
A malfunctioning vehicle yaw/lateral accelerometer sensor
A malfunctioning EBCM
