Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the left front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  3. Remove the left engine splash shield. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Engine Body Front End.
  4. Use floor stands to support the transaxle.

  5. With a jack, slightly take the weight off mount and remove the transaxle bracket to transaxle mount upper nuts.

  6. Remove the transaxle bracket to transaxle bolts.
  7. Remove the transaxle bracket.
