Replacing Oil Pump Cover & Gear Set: Removal

  1. Remove the engine front cover. Refer to Replacing Engine Front Cover .
    2. Fig 1: Identifying Oil Pump Cover & Gear Set

  2. Remove the oil pump cover screws.
  3. Remove the oil pump cover.
  4. Remove the oil pump gear set.
  5. Inspect the oil pump gear set and housing. Refer to Oil Pump Cleaning & Inspection .
