Replacing Front Engine Mount: Installation

  1. Position the motor mount on the frame
  2. Use the jackstand to lower the motor mount bracket on to the motor mount.
    3. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in General Information.
  3. Install the motor mount to frame bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 47 N.m (35 Ft. Lbs.).

  4. Install the motor mount to motor mount bracket nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 47 N.m (35 Ft. Lbs.).

  5. Install the engine splash shield. Refer to SPLASH SHIELD REPLACEMENT - ENGINE in Body Front End.
  6. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION in Tires and Wheels.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
