Installing Water Pump: Installation

  1. Install the water pump gasket.
  2. Install the water pump.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in General Information.
  3. Install the water pump bolts.

    Tighten: 

    • Tighten the small water pump bolts to 22 N.m (16 Ft. Lbs.).
    • Tighten the large water pump bolts to 34 N.m (25 Ft. Lbs.).

  4. Install the water pump pulley.
  5. Install the water pump pulley bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the water pump pulley bolts to 13 N.m (116 lb in).
