Installing Valve Lifter: Installation

  1. Dip the valve lifters in prelube GM P/N 12345501 (Canadian 992704) or the equivalent.
  2. Install the valve lifters.
  3. Install the valve lifter guides.
    4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in General Information.
  4. Install the valve lifter guide bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the valve lifter guide bolts to 30 N.m (22 Ft. Lbs.).
