Installing Oil Level Indicator & Tube: Installation

  1. Install the oil level indicator tube.
    • Lubricate the O-ring with engine oil and make sure it is in place.
    • Make sure the assembly is fully seated in the engine block.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in General Information.
  2. Install the oil level indicator tube nut.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut to 19 N.m (14 Ft. Lbs.).

  3. Install the oil level indicator.
