Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (L26)  or Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (LY7) .
  2. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement (L26)  or Battery Replacement (LY7) .

  3. Remove the battery tray bolts.
  4. Remove the battery tray.
