Installation Procedure

  1. Install the battery tray.
    2. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the battery tray bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the battery tray bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  3. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement (L26)  or Battery Replacement (LY7) .
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (L26)  or Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (LY7) .
