Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the seat belt from the seat. Refer to Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Left Front for the left retractor or Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Right Front for the right.
  2. Remove the lower center pillar trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Lower Center Pillar .

  3. Using a flat-bladed tool, Remove the fastener cover from the top of the upper center trim panel.
  4. Remove the fastener from the trim panel.
  5. Remove the door weatherstrip from the center pillar pinch weld flange to expose the upper trim panel.
  6. Grasp the upper center pillar trim panel firmly with both hands. Pull the panel away from the center pillar.
  7. Pull the seat belt back through the opening in the trim panel.
  8. Remove the trim panel from the vehicle.
