Installation Procedure

  1. Route the seat belt through the upper center pillar trim panel.
  2. Position the upper trim panel to the center pillar.
  3. Push firmly on the trim panel in order to seat the retainers.
    4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the fastener to the upper trim panel.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

  5. Install the fastener cover to the upper center pillar trim panel.

  6. Install the lower center pillar trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Lower Center Pillar .
  7. Install the door weatherstrip to the center pillar.
  8. Install the seat belt to the seat. Refer to Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Left Front for the left retractor or Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Right Front for the right.
