Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the right instrument panel (I/P) insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right .
  2. Remove the passenger lower pillar trim. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Lower Pillar .
  3. Pull back the carpet for access.
  4. Disconnect the body antenna cable from the I/P mobile telephone antenna cable.

  5. Disconnect the I/P antenna cable from the communication interface module by pulling down on the square plastic housing.
  6. Cut off the visible ends of the I/P antenna cable.
