Crankshaft Balancer Removal

Tools Required

• EN 46106  Flywheel Holding Tool. See Special Tools .
• J 38416-2  Crankshaft Button. See Special Tools .
• J 41816  Crankshaft Balancer Remover

1. Install the EN 46106  through the starter mounting hole. See Special Tools .

2. Remove the crankshaft balancer bolt.

3. Install the J 38416-2  in the nose of the crankshaft. See Special Tools .
4. Install the J 41816  in order to remove the crankshaft balancer.
5. Tighten the center bolt of the J 41816  in order to pull the crankshaft balancer off of the crankshaft.
6. Remove the J 41816  from the crankshaft balancer.
