Removal Procedure

    IMPORTANT: DO NOT separate the upper intake manifold from the lower intake manifold.
  1. Remove the upper intake manifold with the lower intake manifold. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 3.6L.
  2. Remove the intake manifold runner control solenoid bolts.
  3. Remove the intake manifold runner control solenoid.
