Installation Procedure

Install the belt retractor into the T-slot in the center pillar.

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .

Install the seat belt retractor bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the seat belt retractor bolt to 68 N.m (50 lb ft).

Position the anchor plate to the seat stud.
Install the anchor plate nut to the seat stud.
Tighten: Tighten the anchor plate nut to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).

Install the intermediate guide bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the intermediate guide bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Install the lower center pillar trim. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .

Position the guide loop to the guide adjuster bracket.
Install the guide loop nut.
Tighten: Tighten the guide loop nut to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).
Close the guide loop cover.
