Removal Procedure

  1. Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (L26, LY7 GE 47716 Fill)  or Cooling System Draining and Filling (L26 Static Fill)  or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LY7 Static Fill)  or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LS4 GE47716 Fill)  or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LS4 Static Fill) .
  2. Remove the left diagonal brace. Refer to Front Fender Upper Diagonal Brace Replacement .
  3. Use the J 38185  in order to reposition the hose clamp from the radiator. See Special Tools .
  4. Remove the radiator inlet hose from the radiator.

  6. Use the J 38185  in order to reposition the hose clamp from the water outlet housing. See Special Tools .
  7. Remove the radiator inlet hose from the water outlet housing and the vehicle.
