Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
    2. NOTE: Refer to Catalytic Converter Movement Notice .
  2. Support the exhaust system.

  3. Remove the catalytic converter bolts.
  4. Remove the catalytic converter gasket.

  5. Remove the exhaust hanger insulators from the muffler.
  6. Remove the muffler from the support.
