Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the case side cover. Refer to Control Valve Body Cover Replacement .
  2. Use a flat-bladed tool to disconnect the electrical connectors from the solenoid valves (315A, 315B, 322, 334 and 440), the TFP manual valve position switch (395) and the temperature sensor (391).

    IMPORTANT: Do NOT remove the bolt (205) that holds the oil pump together.
  4. Remove the oil pump bolts (206, 207).

  6. Remove the oil pump (200) from the valve body (300).
